Risograph series made while on residency in the White Mountains of New Hampshire at Directangle Press in July 2024. Each print features one of fifteen phrases, meditating on what my little urban garden has meant to me.
I first created poppy multi-layered plant forms, using plants from my own garden: parsley, carrots, fennel, coneflower, corn, blueberry, peas, eggplant, tomato and weeds. This was an exercise in exponential variations. I had 4 different compositions, each printed in three different color combinations (+some with layers dropped in and out) x all the textual phrases.
