2019-2021
I’ve saved every fortune I have ever gotten from fortune cookies for about 20 years and created a series of hand screen printed and hand bound books, zines, prints, and postcards - all compilations of these 200+ fortunes.
While project preparation was begun in 2019 while on artist residency at the Morgan Conservatory, most of the actual production was done while in quarantine due to the Covid-19 pandemic in May 2020 while on a home studio artist residency thanks to Akron Soul Train.
